Mendelssohn's Elijah
Concerts set for April 27-29, 2012

The Stanly County Chorale's 44th season continues with Mendelssohn's classic, Elijah. The spring 2012 will also feature the Anson Singers of Wadesboro and other area singers.

Steve Harrill, associate professor of music at Pfeiffer University, is the Chorale's conductor. Stan Scheer, emeritus professor of music at Pfeiffer and organist at First Presbyterian Church, Albemarle, is the accompanist. Strings and timpani will also be used in the presentation.

The concerts are tentatively scheduled for the weekend of April 27-29, 2012, with specific times and locations to be announced.

All area singers are invited to join us! Rehearsals are Mondays, 7 to 9 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 126 W. North St., Albemarle.
