The Stanly County Chorale is supported by the Stanly County Arts Council, the Grassroots Arts Program of the North Carolina Arts Council and the National Endowment of the Arts.

  Additional support is provided by local businesses and individuals, who value the arts as a community resource.

We are Stanly County's Oldest Civic Chorale Society providing continuous performances for the public since 1968.

The Stanly County Chorale rehearses each Monday, 7:00 - 9:00 PM, from September through April in the choir room of
 the First Presbyterian Church, 
126 W. North St.,
 Albemarle, NC.


 
The performing year typically runs from August to April or early summer.
New members may join at the beginning of any rehearsal schedule. 

There is a per singer concert fee of $20 each concert for both old and new members. Married couples, $30.
Members supply their own concert attire but sashes for the women and bowtie/cummerbunds for the men are provided at no cost.
